Privacy Policy

What we collect, and what we do with it.

Short, because there is little to collect: this site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

Effective October 1, 2026. This policy explains what Reichert Holdings LLC (“MarkSense,” “we”) collects through marksense.law and how we use it. It is part of our Terms of Use. MarkSense is for licensed attorneys acting in a professional capacity, and this site is not directed to children or consumers.

What we collect

What you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, firm, work email address, state bar admission, the serial number and response deadline (for a serial-number request), the products you ask about (for a demo or a notify-me request), any note you add, and your confirmation of the attorney statement and the Terms. We also record the date of your agreement to the Terms in the message. When you write to us by email, we receive your message and address.

Technical data. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and request details (browser type, page requested, time) to deliver the site, block abuse, and keep service logs. The contact form also runs Cloudflare Turnstile, which assesses whether a visitor is a person and may process technical signals from your browser for that purpose.

What we do not collect. This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and does not build profiles of visitors. Please do not send client confidential information, privileged material, or personal data about third parties (see Section 5 of the Terms). During the pilot, send only a serial number and its deadline.

How we use it

We use what you send to read and answer your message, to prepare and deliver a draft or demo you ask for, to decide whether you are eligible to use MarkSense (including checking bar admission), to send you the notice you asked for when a product opens, to run, secure, and improve the site and the Services, to keep records, and to comply with law. We use a notify-me address only to tell you when that product opens, and for nothing else. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who handles it

We use a few service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the form’s server-side code, provides Turnstile spam protection, and keeps standard service logs.
  • Resend delivers the contact-form message to our mailbox and keeps delivery logs that can include the message content for a limited period under its own retention settings.
  • Microsoft 365 hosts our mailbox, where the message is stored until we delete it.

We do not store form submissions anywhere else. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, safety, or property or those of others, to investigate misuse, or in connection with a sale, merger, or financing of the business. Our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere, and their own privacy policies govern their handling of it.

Public records

MarkSense’s products analyze public records, such as USPTO trademark files, which may contain names, addresses, and other information about applicants, owners, and attorneys. We use that information as part of a public record, for the purpose for which it was published, and a request to us does not change what the public record says.

How long we keep it

We keep the email you send us for as long as it is useful for the matter, for our records, and for legal and security purposes, and then delete it in the ordinary course. Provider logs are kept according to the providers’ own settings. A request to delete your message is honored where we are not required or permitted to keep it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, with a strict content security policy, and the form accepts only requests from this site. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that information you send will never be accessed by someone who should not have it. Read what we do and do not do on the Security page.

Your choices

You may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may ask us to stop emailing you, by writing to contact@marksense.law. We may need to verify who you are first. This site does not respond to browser “do not track” signals because it does not track you across sites.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
